The king of persia met a great mystic called Zarathustrat, seeking words of wisdom. Zarathustra gave him the seeds of wheat. The king felt insulted threw the seeds and went away. He continued in his pursuit of acquiring wealth. At the fag of end of his life he felt that he had given away his life for wealth and it would not protect him at the time of his death. He pondered whether he had invested his life wrongly.
Once again he sent the words to Zarathustra to bestow upon him with his words of wisdom. Again he presented him the wheat seeds. The king felt that he is not mature enough to understand the meaning of that Zarathustra. He called up the philosopher from INDIA and showed the wheat seeds given by Zarathustra. Looking at seeds the Indian philosopher cried aloud, " What a great teaching....."!!!!
Then he said that the seeds seems to be finite but they have infinite capacity to grow. from seed to tree and tree to seeds continues... In the same way we appear to be finite but we have infinite capacity to grow as wheat seeds!!!
Secondly unless seed is willing to give up its seed-hood it cannot grow. similarly unless we are willing to bury our past , we cannot grow to the new future.
Finally when you plant the seed in the ground , invisible forces like moisture , heat , air will help the seed to sprout. One should have the trust in life too with invisible powers which enables us to grow to have the enlightenment in our life .
He realized that any species survives only if it is generic. if seed is unwilling to multiply due to fear of environment by thinking that it may not give the chance to grow then species will die.
Like wise goodness and wisdom also be generic. Learn to spread the goodness and wisdom for society to go well with good heath.
